Medical presentation of the bloodsucking corpses

In 1732 Johann Wilhelm Nobling - writing under the pseudonym of Johann Christoph Stock - published his "Dissertatio physica de cadaveribus sanguisugis; von denen so genannten Vampyren oder Menschen-Säugern", claiming that the vampires were not "undead" human beings, but demons.
